Recognizing Excellence, Celebrating Potential, Building Community
Competition by Invitation Only.
Saturday, January 31, 2026
8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. EST
Congratulations on your invitation to compete for one of three Otterbein University full-tuition awards. The University Scholarship Committee believes you possess a particular kind of academic and personal potential that will grow exponentially at Otterbein. This scholarship competition is just the beginning of many important opportunities at Otterbein designed to challenge your intellect and critical thinking skills while uniquely enriching your understanding of what you have the capability to achieve.
We believe you are ready for a university that will ask you to think deeply and broadly, one that expects you to engage locally and globally, and one which will prepare you to advance your profession and your community. Otterbein is committed to learning experiences which will develop, shape, and grow your understanding and experiences.
Scholars Day is about the opportunity to explore more. More opportunity. More support. More meaningful growth.
Many students who compete at Scholars Day ultimately decide to become Otterbein Cardinals — not because of the scholarship support they receive, but because they begin to understand that what happens here is different.
You will be supported, mentored, and prepared to explore and realize the goals you have always hoped were possible as a college student. Those dreams, that discovery begin as early as your first year.
Scholars Day Congratulations from Otterbein President John Comerford.
