“From the moment you step into an Otterbein Chemistry class, you know the professors care deeply about both your success as a student and your growth as an individual and professional. I had never thought about a career in chemistry before Otterbein, but with the help and encouragement of the professors, I finally realized my true passion. There are so many opportunities to explore different aspects of chemistry, and we have a lot of fun doing so!”

Lily is researching the colorants in a Central American dyestuff on campus with Dr. Esson and will be exploring possible careers when she completes an internship at the Lubrizol Corporation in Summer 2021.
