Otterbein Summer Theatre Presents: The Glass Menagerie
Posted May 02, 2025
Step into the fragile world of the Wingfield family. Amanda, a former Southern debutante longing for days-gone-by, and her two children Tom and Laura are living in a cramped apartment in depression-era St. Louis. Between Tom’s desire to be anywhere but home, and Laura’s obsession with her glass figurines, the family is teetering on the edge of destruction. When a young man arrives for dinner, hopes and dreams for a brighter future are stirred into motion, but such illusions can be easily shattered. Often considered Tennessee Williams’ greatest work, The Glass Menagerie is a timeless classic of love and longing.
THE GLASS MENAGERIE is presented by special arrangement with Broadway Licensing, LLC, servicing the Dramatists Play Service collection.
