Youdhisthir Maharjan: Toils of Delight

Posted Mar 01, 2020

January 15 – April 25, 2020

Reception: canceled (see below for more information)

Through hand labor, repetition, and a drop into endless time, conceptual printmaker Youdhisthir Maharjan makes meaning and connection as he intentionally deconstructs and weaves text-based artworks. Toils of Delight especially recalls the Newars, indigenous people of Nepal’s Kathmandu Valley, who are renowned for their artistry and its relationship to place-making and festival cycles.

Cancellations Due to COVID-19 Prevention

As of this afternoon, March 10th, Otterbein University has suspended all in-person classes on-campus and cancelled all indoor events until April 12 as part of our COVID-19 prevention measures.

Out of respect for the health and safety of all of our supporters, we have cancelled all Art exhibitions and receptions until we have determined how to proceed safely. Please check this page for updates, and thank you for your support during this challenging time.
