Senior Instructor
Department of Engineering, Computer Science, & Physics

David J. Stucki received a B.S. in Mathematics from Wheaton College (IL), and an M.S. in Computer Science from The Ohio State University, where he also completed course work for a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence. Complexities of life prevented him from completing a dissertation, but landed him in a full time faculty position at Otterbein in 1996, where he has enjoyed teaching a mixture of Computer Science, Mathematics, and INST/FYS courses. While at Otterbein his research interests have expanded into both the field of Computer Science Education, and the field of History and Philosophy of Mathematics (particularly as it intersects with Theology). He also now has the pleasure of sharing his office with his wife, who teaches Mathematics as an adjunct instructor.
