It’s time for a few treasured traditions to return — and Otterbein hopes you’ll share in some very special festivities. Otterbein’s annual Tree Lighting and Holiday Feast officially kicked off the season on Dec. 1.
President John Comerford hosted the event on Towers Plaza with live music, hot chocolate and candy cane treats, Towers Brass, OtterTuned, a special holiday message from Rev. Lucy Kelly, Church of the Master, and the big moment when the tree is illuminated.
The glow of Towers Hall shone in the background as the tree twinkles once again as part of a tradition that started in 1961.
The celebration continued at Otterbein’s Campus Center with the Holiday Feast. This special meal is included in student dining plans. Alumni, friends, employees, and other guests purchased dinner tickets at the door.
