Chai Sribanditmongkol, Assistant Professor, Project Manager, Department of Nursing
Dr. Sribanditmongkol is a Registered Nurse, Internationally Board-Certified Lactation Consultant, and Clinical Nurse Specialist, whose clinical focus is Women’s Health and Perinatal Nursing Care. His research involves the examination of psychoneuroimmunological responses to influenza vaccination in young adult military/student persons living with chronic stress. Additional research includes studying the effects of nursing bedside hand-off communications, teach-back education, and discharge bundles on oncology patient care outcomes.
Dr. Sribanditmongkol currently teaches undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral-level nursing students in a variety of courses. Following a 26-year career in the U.S. Navy as a retired Nurse Corps Officer, Healthcare Executive, Researcher, and Submariner, Dr. Sribanditmongkol began teaching full-time at Otterbein University in 2019. He continues to teach, mentor, and encourage students to succeed in their studies to become competent, compassionate, and caring healthcare professionals.
