Kari Briggs is the Business Manager of the Austin E. Knowlton Center for Equine Science.  As part of her duties as the Business Manager, Kari oversees the equestrian program and actively coaches riders of all disciplines.  She stays busy throughout the year traveling to intercollegiate horse shows and competing her own horses in the sport of Eventing.

Kari grew up riding and competing throughout her childhood in a variety of disciplines.  She graduated from Otterbein in 2003 with a degree in Education and has since completed her MBA her at Otterbein in 2011.

As an equestrian, Kari strives to continue to meet her own competitive goals.  She is an active competitor and enjoys all aspects of the horse sports. Kari has competed through the Advanced level in eventing.  She is also a graduate ‘A’ pony clubber and has ridden and competed on the A rated hunter/jumper circuit.  Kari continues to enjoy learning and improving on her own riding and has had the opportunity to clinic with some the best riders in the world, including Captain Mark Phillips, Lucinda Green, Greg Best and Ian Stark.

Kari oversees the equestrian program and actively participates in coaching members of all three team disciplines; dressage, eventing, and huntseat.
