BLISS: “What to Know About the 2024 Olympics”

The Games of the XXIII Olympiad will take place in Paris starting this July 26th.  Before the opening ceremonies begin, please join us at noon on Wednesday, July 24th, in Room 118, where Dr. Harold “Rusty” Wilson will share with us the stories behind what we’re going to see in the games, explaining how it ties into the ancient and modern history of the event, and maybe even sharing an artifact or two connected to this international event.

Dr. Wilson is a former professor at the Ohio State University, an internationally-renowned authority on the history of the Olympic Games, and is currently assisting the Otterbein University Archives in preserving our institution’s sports history.
