Constitution Day at the Library
Posted Sep 04, 2024
September 17th is Constitution Day and as a depository library Courtright Memorial is celebrating with display!
You can stop by the first floor and pick up a grab bag that includes a pocket constitution or vote on a few select failed amendments that never made it into the Constitution. In 1977 there was proposed amendment to limit the President to a single six-year term. Like that idea or not? Come vote!
Not able to get to the library or forgot to pick up a constitution? Check out the National Constitution Center’s Interactive Constitution.
