This is your last week to request, check out, and/or renew OhioLINK and SearchOhio items. Access to these systems will be on pause from May 23rd through June 30th, 2025. During this time some items may still be available for borrowing via Interlibrary Loan (hyperlinked). All OhioLINK and SearchOhio items that are checked out to Otterbein users during this pause will need to be returned at a time TBD (before the start of Fall Semester) in order for us to fully close out our current operating system. Please stay turned to future Library communications regarding this exact deadline.

*Full OhioLINK access to request, borrow and renew new items is expected to resume by the end of June 2025 however access to SearchOhio via your Otterbein library card will not return until sometime during Fall Semester.

Additional Updates

Check-in and check-out will be conducted offline June 4 – June 18, 2025 as we fully switch from Sierra to Ex Libris’ Alma service platform. The Library will still be fully functioning, but our staff may take a little longer to complete your transaction than has been typical. We appreciate your patience with us.

We have begun preparing emails to all Friends of the Library members with borrowing privileges: once we Go Live with Alma/Primo, you will need to reset your password in order to access our new public facing catalog. During the Go Live week in June, you will receive another email with instructions on how to accomplish this reset.
