The Battelle Fine Arts Center (BFAC) is the Department’s principal home and houses numerous class and rehearsal rooms, all equipped with sound and video systems, and most with computer projection equipment.

The Keyboard Lab contains sixteen Yamaha digital pianos, and one instructor workstation for class piano.

The Computer Lab has twelve student Macs and one instructor computer, and is equipped with state-of-the art music software. The lab’s printer is capable of printing full-size scores.

The Electronic Music Studio contains computers, music software, synthesizers, drum machines, various sound processors and a mixing console.

Riley Auditorium is the 260-seat recital and lecture hall in the Battelle Fine Arts Center. It is equipped with a practice organ and a 7-foot Steinway grand piano.

Cowan Hall: Fritsche Theatre

The Fritsche Theatre at Cowan Hall is a 1047-seat proscenium house, last renovated in 2005 with new seats, lighting positions, and vastly improved acoustics. Cowan Hall is the venue for all musical theatre performances and large concerts by ensembles such as the combined choirs and The Westerville Symphony at Otterbein University.
