Invite your family and friends to join you at Homecoming and Family Weekend, Sept. 15-16! Homecoming and Family Weekend is our favorite time of the year, and we can’t wait to celebrate all things Otterbein with you!  The hub of all festivities is our two-day OtterFest, taking place next to the Campus Center.  

Back by popular demand is Friday night Cardy Hour — a chance for alumni, students, and families to hang out with their favorite faculty and staff outside the classroom. This OtterFest happy hour runs from 5-7 p.m. and includes live music from The Moonbats, food trucks, and a biergarten featuring local favorite Zaftig Brewing.  

If you’re an early bird, come to the Battelle Fine Arts Center from 9:30-11 a.m. on Saturday morning for the Celebration of Otterbein. This very special event features our Alumni Awards presentation and State of the University Address delivered by President John Comerford. 

Come back to the Campus Center on Saturday morning, when OtterFest picks back up at 10 a.m. with entertainment for the whole family, including live music from our talented alumni and students, the always fun parade, Cardy Zone with inflatables, games, crafts, live animals from the Ohio Wildlife Center, and so much more!  

Then cheer on your Cardinal athletes! Women’s soccer takes on Case Western at 11 a.m. at Memorial Stadium. After the match, grab lunch and share a drink with friends at OtterFest before heading back into the stadium at 3 p.m. to cheer the football team to victory over Wilmington.
