Joy Shoemaker, DNP

Joy Ferretti Shoemaker, DNP, APRN-CNP is an Associate Professor in the Department of Nursing at Otterbein University. Dr. Shoemaker teaches undergraduate, graduate and doctoral nursing students in a variety of courses. Dr. Shoemaker began her nursing education career in 2002 as a part-time clinical instructor and became a full-time nursing instructor in 2009. Chai Sribanditmongkol, PhD
Associate Professor
Dr. Sribanditmongkol is a Registered Nurse, Internationally Board-Certified Lactation Consultant, and Clinical Nurse Specialist, whose clinical focus is Women’s Health and Perinatal Nursing Care. His research involves the examination of psychoneuroimmunological responses to influenza vaccination in young adult military/student persons living with chronic stress. Additional research includes studying the effects of nursing bedside hand-off communications, teach-back education, and discharge bundles on oncology patient care outcomes.
