Favorite spot on campus

The Philomathean room in Towers hall has always been my favorite. As a student we held student government meetings in there so it holds many fond memories from my time here at Otterbein. I love the stained glass and the way the light hits the chandelier during staff yoga after work hours, I will always find it to be such a peaceful experience to just sit and take it all in!

What I love about my job

Working with students and families has been a joy. Hearing all of the dreams and goals these young people have has given me more purpose and meaning in the work that I do. It is especially rewarding when I get to see them on campus and celebrate how far they have come in their journey.

What makes Otterbein great

From students, to staff, to faculty, everyone is one big family. No matter what you need or who you need, everyone is willing to support you in your time on campus and even after. As an alum, it brings me joy to be back and see that the spirit of community, care, and love in our quiet peaceful village has stayed the same.
