Mary Beth Metz joined the Office of Alumni & Family Engagement June 2022 as the Coordinator of Alumni & Family Programs, with a focus on deepening engagement with alumni, families and friends of Otterbein through programming and social media outreach.
After receiving her BA from Lipscomb University, Mary Beth worked for the institution as an admissions counselor. She then developed and served as Director of an early childhood education center for many years before joining the Otterbein community in Student Affairs.
Being an engaged and involved community member is important to Mary Beth, and she is an active leader and volunteer with several school and community organizations. Other pastimes include running, reading and watching her children enjoy life.
