Columbus native Amanda [Helmrich] Julca graduated from Dublin Scioto High School with Honors Summa Cum Laud in 2002.

From 2002-2006, she attended Otterbein College and earned her BA in Art, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Cum Laud with a major in Art, and a minor in Art History. She enhanced her education in 2004 with study abroad at the Accademia del Giglio, in Florence, Italy, concentrating in the art of Fresco painting.

For more than a decade since, Amanda Julca has independently developed and grown a personal brand as a globally recognized and published lifestyle, travel and portrait photographer and creative director. Her work has afforded her the opportunity to travel worldwide to work alongside brands such as Target, Verizon, Universal Music, Free People, Conde Nast, Crystal Cruises, and many more. Her work has been featured in publications such as Forbes, People Magazine, Huffington Post, Billboard Magazine, and others. An avid traveler and devoted creative, Amanda is inspired by and passionate about clients through her photographic assignments and creative collaborations.

With her initial creative roots developed in painting, her photographic imagery and creative aesthetic has often been described as poetic, authentic, and expressive.

When she’s not traveling on assignment, she can be found enjoying a colorful life in Miami, Florida where she lives with her husband and son Shiloh. As a family, the Julcas are committed to supporting local creative endeavors and are involved in homeless outreach and community improvements.
