Helen Jean Thompson, Class of 1945

Helen Jean Thompson ’45 died on May 28, 2018. She was born and raised in Westerville, graduating from Westerville High School in 1941. She attended Otterbein in 1945. In 1966 she was the first female to be elected President of the Board of Directors of the Food Fair Federal Credit Union and served on the Board for over 25 years. She later worked at the Miami Herald and retired from Knight Ridder corporate office in 1991.
