Barbara Bone Feightner, Class of 1949

Barbara Bone Feightner ’49 died June 11, 2016.  She retired after 25 years of teaching in elementary school and was a volunteer for the visually impaired. She was a member of Sigma Alpha Tau sorority and a homecoming queen. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Len.  She is survived by three children, including Lorianna Feightner ’75; five grandchildren, including Bradley Feightner ’09; two great-grandchildren; and cousin, Nancy Bone Hollifield ’62.
