Beverly Thompson Kelly, Class of 1952

Beverly “Bev” Thompson Kelly ‘52 died June 27, 2023. Bev was born on June 22, 1930, the first of two children of Howard and Iris Thompson in Lorain, OH. She graduated from Otterbein with a Bachelor of Arts in sociology and business administration and was involved in WOBN Radio, Quiz and Quill, and Epsilon Kappa Tau. She then received her Masters of Social Work from Florida State University. She retired from the mental health program in the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Department. She survived by her three children: Charlie Kelly, Patty Corry, and Liz Barlowe. Bev was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Kelly.
