Christopher Williams, Class of 2002

Christopher Williams ’02 died Nov. 10, 2021. Chris was born in Columbus, Ohio on Sept. 18, 1978 to James and Wendy Ernsberger Williams. He graduated from Westerville High School where he played trombone, threw shot-put in track, and participated in the student advisory board. Chris attended Ashland University, received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Otterbein University, and went on to achieve his master’s degree from DeVry University. While attending Ashland University, Chris met his wife, Jennifer Dabney and they were married on September 14, 2002.

Chris worked at Avita Health Systems as a Server Administrator but had worked for many other companies providing technical support. Chris was very active in his church, where he helped with the children’s ministry. He loved boating, vinyl records, problem solving, anything with wires, and especially spending time with his family and friends.

Chris is survived by his parents, wife, sons Wyatt and Wesley Williams, sister Ashley (John) Chaney ’04, as well as numerous extended family. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Warren Ernsberger ’43 & Patricia Orndorff Ernsberger ’43.
