David Dietzel ’57 died June 23, 202. He was born July 24, 1935, in Aurora, Illinois. His family lived in Columbus and Cleveland Heights, Ohio where his father served as pastor in both locations. Dave graduated from Cleveland Heights HS and Otterbein College where he was part of the Pi Kappa Phi (Country Club) fraternity.
Dave graduated from Evangelical Theological Seminary in Naperville, ILL, and then received a Master’s Degree from McCormick Seminary in Chicago, ILL. He served churches in Ohio, PA., N.J., and FL and retired from Covenant Presbyterian Church in Ft. Myers as Pastor Emeritus.
He is survived by his wife, Marlene Remy Dietzel; sons Michael ’85 (Jennifer), Douglas and grandson Parker, & (Kerry Miller) as well as nieces and nephews.
