David Moser, Class of 1963

David Moser ’63 died Feb. 8, 2020. He was born in Detroit, MI to the late Frank and Mary Moser on Feb. 8, 1941. David graduated from Otterbein in 1963 with degrees in economics and business administration. During his time at Otterbein he was a member of the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity. David then went on to earn a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Pittsburgh in 1964. He began working for General Motors at the Pontiac Motor Division in Pontiac, MI, but was drafted into the Army in 1966. After being discharged from the Army, he returned to Pontiac Motors in 1968 and married his wife Alice. David was transferred to a metal plant in Grand Rapids, MI in 1989, and spent four years there before being sent to the central office in Warren, MI, finally retiring in 2001. He was preceded in death by his sister Mary Ann Moser ’57, and is survived by his wife Alice, children Michele and Frank, and grandchild Luke.
