Doris Peden Fouts

Doris Peden Fouts ’49 died July 18, 2017. She was born March 13, 1927 to the late Roy Peden’22 and Lucile Ewry ’23. Doris graduated from Otterbein in 1949 and was a member of Tau Epsilon Mu (Talisman) sorority. She also attended Miami Valley Hospital School of Nursing.

Doris was also preceded in death by her husband Don Fouts ’45, brother David Peden ’54, cousin Carol Peden Lefferson ’46, aunt Sylvia Peden Dodd ’26, uncles Arthur Peden ’21 & Charles Dodd ’29. She is survived by children Dora (Bob Smith) and Dave (Debi) Fouts, cousin Beverly Dodd Peacock ’54, granddaughters Emily (Adam) Bryant and Katie Smith, grandchildren Jennifer (Michael) Mills and Don (Rebecca) Fouts, great-grandchildren Jacob, Wesley, Rebecca and Sienna.
