Ellen Kemp Kay, Class of 1962

Ellen Kemp Kay ’62 died May 15, 2016. She was a teacher for 21 years in Dayton area schools. She was a member of Otterbein Women’s Club and an accomplished artist in quilting and needlepoint. She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Norris Kemp ’26; three aunts, Bernice Norris Howard ‘ 27, Marianne Norris Temple ’33, and Virginia Norris Smith ’36; three uncles, Louis W. Norris ’28, Dr. Fred H. Norris ’34, and Robert E. Norris ’43. She is survived by her husband, James M. Kay ’62; a daughter and a son; and four grandchildren.
