Frances Myers Strong, Class of 1956

Frances Myers Strong ’56 died April 24, 2020. She graduated from Otterbein College with a Bachelors of Science in Education and was involve in Quiz & Quill and the Theta Nu (Greenwich) sorority. Frances and her late husband Ben Strong, traveled the world with the Marines until Ben retired in 1976 when they settled in Florida.
Frances always dreamed of comedy, performing on the stage and it wasn’t just a phase. After her husband died she found a comedy club in town and went to an “open mike.” From there she traveled the country, working clubs and casinos, even making an appearance on America’s Got Talent.

Frances is survived by children Kevin (Betty), Tim (Kelley), Kelly (Najiva), & Joy. Grandchildren Kaylin, Zach, Reagan, Skyler, Ben, Claire, Katie, Amy, and Alexi.
