Fred Zechman, Class of 1949

Fred Zechman ’49 died Oct. 1, 2015. He was professor and chair of the department of physiology and biophysics at the University of Kentucky, was among the founding faculty of the UK Medical Center and was vice chancellor for research and graduate studies. He was a member of Zeta Phi. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Nancy. He is survived by wife, Shirley, two children and two grandchildren.
