Glenna Keeney Long, Class of 1951

Glenna Keeney Long ’51 died April 14th, 2021. She was born in Westerville Ohio November 23, 1929 to the late Mary and Glenn Keeney. Glenna graduated from Otterbein University with Art & Drama Majors and she was a member of the Epsilon Kappa Tau sorority.
Glenna was a gifted ceramist and an avid gardener and became a Certified Advanced Master Gardener. She started her own company called the Golden Toad where she sold her produce from the house that she and Dave owned in Auburn Hills. She also ran the kitchen herb garden for Meadowbrook Hall where she was a docent as well. Before that she was the House Manager for the Youth Theater at the Detroit Institute of Arts. She was an avid reader and had a love for classical music often attending the symphony. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to laugh which she did often.
She is survived by her spouse Dave Lonier, children David Long and Rebecca Gahman, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Sister Charlotte Keeney Smart ’57.
