Herman W. Brown, Class of 1944

Herman Brown ’44 died Sept. 5, 2016.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy as Lt.JG.  He was a teacher and reading tutor.  In retirement, he worked for Equitable Insurance.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Margaret Shoemaker Brown ’44; sister-in-law, Marion Daniels Shoemaker ’49; and brother-in-law, Richard Shoemaker ’48.  He is survived by two children and one granddaughter.
