Jane Hurdiss Tolliver, Class of 1978

Jane Hurdiss Tolliver ’78 died November 28, 2022. Jane was born in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Richard and Suzanne Hurdiss.
Jane received her associates of science degree from Otterbein University, then in a 3-year program with Grant Hospital School of Nursing, she received her diploma of nursing and went on to Ohio University where she received her BSN degree.
She retired in 2018 from Licking Memorial Hospital as a nurse after 33 years of service. She eventually was in charge of all cardiac accreditations for Licking Memorial Hospital-one fine RN.
Jane enjoyed quilting, spending time with her grandchildren, traveling, going to the beach, and she was very supportive of family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Chris Tolliver; daughter, Sarah (Andrew) Hill; siblings, Jim (Mary) Hurdiss and Diane (John Meister) West; grandchildren, Wyatt and Jackson Hill; and many nieces and nephews.
