Jean Walden Clare

Jean Walden Clare ’49 died May 12, 2019. She was born June 20, 1927 to the late Rev. and Mrs. Ernest Walden. Jean graduated from Otterbein in 1949 where she was a member of the Rho Kappa Delta (Arcady) sorority. She was an elementary teacher in the Sweet Home School District for 28 years. In retirement, she was a volunteer at the Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital.

Jean is survived by her husband Roy Clare ’48 children Susan (Walter Larkin) and Jon (Patricia Meagher); grandmother of Lauren and Stephen; sister of Lolita Christenberry.
