Jeanie Pfleger Sutton, Class of 1964

Jeanie Pfleger Sutton ’64 died March 29, 2019. Graduate of Minford High School and Otterbein University with both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in English. During her time at Otterbein she was active in basketball, the women’s athletic association, and a member of Epsilon Kappa Tau. She retired from Columbus City Schools where she taught English as a second language, also taught in Garden Grove, CA and Minford, OH.

Jeanie is preceded in death by her parents Earl E. and Louella (Ross) Pfleger, brothers Ed and Dan Pfleger. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Don Sutton; daughter, Lori Sutton ‘90; and son, James Sutton.
