JoAnn Piper McCann, Class of 1958

JoAnn Piper McCann ’58 died Jan. 9, 2019. She was born in Johnstown, on March 23, 1935, to the late Edwin ‘32 and Mabel (Gornall) Piper. JoAnn graduated from Johnstown High School and attended Otterbein College. During her time at Otterbein she was a member of Tau Epsilon Mu. She worked as an administrative assistant at Cooper Energy Services in Mount Vernon. JoAnn attended Utica Presbyterian Church in Utica, and was the music director there along with playing the piano and organ.

JoAnn is preceded in death by her parents, and husband, H. Ray McCann. She is survived by her daughter, Traci (Howard) Knox; a brother, James (Linda) Piper; brother-in-law, Lynn (Sandy) McCann; and numerous nieces and nephews.
