She graduated from Gahanna Lincoln High School in 2009 and graduated with a BA in Theatre from Otterbein University in 2013. In the fall, after graduation she hopped on a bus from Columbus to New York City, “The City” and didn’t look back. Katie also sold merchandise for many Broadway shows and worked with the marketing team for the Broadway musical Allegiance – “Hey Guys! We’re on Broadway!”.

Katie loved the theatre, it all started when she saw the Lion King on tour at the age of 12 and was completely engulfed. Her theatre life came full circle when she worked on the marketing team that supported Disney on Broadway and The Lion King was one of her projects.
