Kathleen Mollett Bright Augspurger, Class of 1941

Kathleen Mollett Bright Augspurger ’41 died June 19, 2019. She was born in Lewisburg, Ohio, on January 16, 1919 to the late Ruth Hendrix Mollett and Walter Firth Mollett.

Kathleen attended Van Nuys Elementary School and graduated Van Nuys High School in California, class of 1937. Returning to Ohio for college, she graduated from Otterbein College ’41 with a BA in Sociology. While at Otterbein she was involved in the Tau Epsilon Mu (Talisman) sorority. After graduation, she returned to California where he was first employed by Bell Telephone and later, United Airlines.

Kathleen is proceeded in death by her first husband Robert Bright, second husband Harold Augspurger ’41, brother, Bryon Mollett, nephews, George Mollett & James Sullivan. She is survived by her sisters, Helen Sullivan & Martha Mortensen, nieces, nephews, and numerous grand and great grand nieces & nephews.
