Lucy Layer Jacoby, Class of 1947

Lucy Layer Jacoby ’47 died March 15, 2016. She was a teacher with the Dayton Public Elementary Schools. She enjoyed tennis, bowling, traveling and participated in several organizations. She was a member of Sigma Alpha Tau. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a relative, Isabel Jones Jacoby ’27. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Byron Jacoby; two sons; five grandchildren; a brother; a nephew, Robert A. Jacoby ’80; and a relative, Kelli Jacoby Fitzpatrick ’09.
