Margery Wheelock Rodeheffer, Class of 1966

Margery Wheelock Rodeheffer ‘66 died September 17, 2022. She was born January 1st, 1923 to the late Iva and Edwin Wheelock.
After high school, Marge attended Aurora College in Aurora, Illinois, part time. Marge began attending Otterbein College in Westerville, Ohio, part time to finish her degree in education.
Margery began her teaching career In Portsmouth, OH. She served 3 different schools and 4 principals. At the age of 67, she retired. But after retirement, she missed working with the children, so she volunteered to tutor. Marge was very involved in her community and contributed to and worked with Habitat for Humanity on three houses in Portsmouth.

She is predeceased by her husband Calvin Rodeheffer, sister Norma Jean Basinger and daughter in law, Karen Rodeheffer. She is survived by her four children: John (Beverly) Rodeheffer, Martha Sue McKenney, Stephen (Lynne) Rodeheffer and David (Patricia) Rodeheffer. Marge also is survived by twelve grandchildren, two step grandchildren, six great grandchildren and seven step great grandchildren.
