Mark Frazier ‘86 died August 31, 2022. He was born February 24, 1964, to Jerald Frazier and the late Shirley (Walcott) Frazier.
Mark was a 1982 graduate of Tri-Valley High School and a 1986 graduate of Otterbein University. At Otterbein University, he was a member of Sigma Delta Phi (Sphinx) fraternity and played in the band. He was an instrumental music and drama teacher for Hamilton Local Schools in Obetz, Ohio. He also served as the band director for 31 years and the district’s musical director for 22 years. Following his retirement, Mark served as creative director for the Hamilton Township High School musicals and the Logan Elm marching band.
Surviving in addition to his father, is his husband, Dan Mummaw; his stepmother, Donna Frazier; a sister, Lisa (Jim) Wriston; nieces Robyn Mills, Heather and Caitlynn Wriston, a nephew, Keaghan Wriston; a stepsister, Lori (Mike) Luallen; a stepbrother, Todd (Donna) Hanks. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, John Max and Kathryn Frazier, Russell and Hazel Walcott.
