Marlene Lembright Stillson, Class of 1960

Marlene Lembright Stillson ’60 died September 18, 2022. Marlene was born August 22, 1938, to the late Charles and Marjorie Lembright.
Marlene graduated from Baltic High School in 1956, and from Otterbein University with her B.S. in Education in 1960. While at Otterbein she was involved in the Tau Epsilon Mu (Talisman) sorority and Angel Flight (ROTC).

She met Dave Stillson, her husband, during her time at Kent State University, where she graduated with her Master’s in Education in 1964. She was Assistant Director of Admissions at Kent State University from 1964-1971. She was a Guidance Counselor at New Philadelphia High School from 1971-1976, and then took time off to have their daughter and be an AMAZING Mom. She finished her career as the Guidance Counselor for K-8th grade at Garaway Schools from 1986-2000.

Marlene was preceded in death by her husband Dave, and also her brother Charles Lembright Jr. ’59, and Dave’s twin brother Dick Stillson.
Marlene is survived by her daughter Brynn (Kevin) Cline, and granddaughter Aviana Cline. She is also survived by Dave’s brother and sister-in-law Don and Patty Stillson, sister-in-law Judy Stillson, sister-in-law Sharon Bortz, and many nieces and nephews.
