Maxine Daniels Moore, Class of 1963

Maxine Daniels Moore ’63 died Nov. 1, 2021. She was born on Oct. 21, 1941 to the late Harvey and Zenith Daniels. A 1963 graduate of Otterbein University with a B.A. in Social Work, Maxine was involved in basketball, softball, volleyball, and field hockey, and was a member of Kappa Phi Omega (Onyx) sorority. She was a faithful member of Grace Polaris Church and was involved with Heartbeat International, Junior Achievement, Friends In Action International, Vacation Bible School, and Spirit of Love singing group, as well as organizing Colonial Hills block parties and parades. Maxine enjoyed singing southern gospel, gardening, and fellowship with friends and family.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Donnie Daniels. Maxine is survived by her husband Jim, daughter Pamela, son Michael (Trista), and grandchildren Pearl and Wyatt.
