Maxine Putterbaugh Alvarez, Class of 1948

Maxine Putterbaugh Alvarez ’48 died Feb. 15, 2021 at Brookhaven. She attended Otterbein College where she was involved in the Rho Kappa Delta (Arcady) sorority, basketball and volleyball. She was a long time member of Community United Methodist Church in Brookville.

She was preceded in death by her husband Armand Alvarez, brother Eugene Putterbaugh ’52 and sister Annabelle Putterbaugh Good ’47.
She is survived by her niece Beverly Putterbaugh Larson ’68 and extended family and friends.
