Michael Sewell ’79 died April 15, 2017.  He was the band director at Pickerington High School from 1981 until his retirement in 2015.   He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Margaret Eschbach Freeman ’50; father-in-law, John Freeman ’50; and brother-in-law, David Freeman ’83.He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Karen Freeman Sewell ’79; four children; sister-in-law, Gretchen Freeman Hargis ’77; brother-in-law, John Hargis ’79; relatives, William Freeman ’57; Pamela Freeman Chaffin ’83, and Cheryl Freeman Hill ’87.
