Nancy Hampton Kibler, Class of 1952

Nancy Hampton Kibler ‘52 died August 23, 2023. Born April 1, 1931 to William Arvel Hampton and Nancy Louise Wells Hampton in Lee City, KY. She received a Bachelor’s of Arts in biology and physical education from the department of Biology and Earth sciences. While at Otterbein, she was involved in volleyball, Tau Epsilon Mu, and served as an Otterbein homecoming queen. She went on to receive a Masters of Arts and Education from the College of Mt. St. Joseph. She retired after 26 years of teaching physical education and health at Wellston High School. She survived by her four children: Julie Kibler, Jill Kibler White, Melanie Kibler Pitzer, and Scott Kibler. Nancy was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence Frederick Kibler.
