Nancy Longmire Seibert, Class of 1952

Nancy Longmire Seibert ’52 died December 28, 2020. Born on October 21, 1930 to the late Fate and Frennie (Turner) Longmire in Dayton, OH. Nancy attended Otterbein where she played basketball, volleyball, field hockey, and was in the Tau Delta (Deltas) sorority. Nancy and her late husband Robert Sibert ’53 were long time supporters of Otterbein, attended many events, and have numerous alumni in their family, including all 3 daughters.
Nancy was a Physical Education Teacher in the Mansfield Public School System and a member of the Main Street United Methodist Church.
Along with her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her brother Howard Longmire ’55.
She is survived by her three daughters, Kathleen ‘74 (Jim ‘75) Martin, Rebecca ’76 Deckard, Belinda ‘77 (Kevin ‘79) Lynch; six grandchildren, Aaron (Maura) Deckard, Amy (Eric) Deckard Gulley, Carrie Martin Donaldson, Kyle ‘03 (Michelle) Martin, Carlyn (Adam) Lynch Schofield, Tom (Corinne Hoffman) Lynch; 12 great-grandchildren, Rhett, Maeve and Marek Donaldson, Arys Jones, Brynleigh and Adelyn Martin, Maddie, Ella and Porter Deckard, Jonathan and Sam Gulley, Isaac and Evie Schofield.
