Patricia Weigand Bale, Class of 1958

Patricia Weigand Bale ’58 died Feb. 10, 2017. She taught for 52 years in high schools around the world. She received the Department of Defense Sustained Superior Performance Award for creation of the CORPS English and History program at a school in Tokyo, Japan. She is preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Evelyn Edwards Bale ’30 and father-in-law, William G. Bale ’50. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, William F. Bale ’57; a daughter; two grandchildren; sister-in-law, Emily Bale Warner ’58; brother-in-law, Robert E. Warner, Jr. ’56; and nephew, Eric Warner ’80.
