Paul Drotovick, Class of 1970

Paul Drotovick ’70 died Dec. 27, 2020. He was born Feb. 11, 1927, to the late John and Josephine Drotovick. Paul was educated at the former St. John’s High School in Canton, Mount Union College, and graduated from Otterbein College.
Paul also honorably served his country in the United States Army during WWII. Paul enjoyed teaching and coaching basketball for numerous years with at St. Mary’s School in Dennison, Columbus Bishop Hartley, and Newark Catholic, and Conotton Valley High Schools. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus.
Paul is survived by wife Joanne; sons, Paul (Pam) Drotovick, Mark (Kathy) Drotovick; sister, Barbara Fraley; grandchildren, Brittany (Chuck) Colvin, Matthew (Johnna) Drotovick, and Danielle (Tim) Gilmore; and great-grandchildren, Emmitt, Cameron, Carter, Grayson, Weston, Alivia, and Odin. He was preceded in death by his parents; his granddaughter, Rachel; and his brother, Joseph.
