Paul Shartle ’42 died Dec. 1, 2016. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving in the 361st A.A.F. Band at Wright-Patterson Field, Dayton. He taught music in the Kettering City Schools from 1946-1962, then became an elementary school principal until his retirement in 1977. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy. He is survived by two sons, five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
