Peter Allaman, Class of 1963

Peter Allaman ’63 died Dec. 27, 2021. He was born Sept. 27, 1941. Peter earned a degree in sociology at Otterbein University, his masters at Harvard University and PhD at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. While attending Otterbein, he was in the ROTC, Quiz & Quill and the Lambda Gamma Epsilon (Kings) fraternity.

Peter was Senior Research Associate at Charles River Associates, Boston, Mass. He was Research Associate at M.I.T.’s Joint Center for Urban Studies and Department of Urban Studies. He has also served as Research Associate at the Harvard Business School where he developed a municipal fiscal simulation. He has also worked in the Dynamic Modeling/Computer Graphics Group of M.I.T.’s Project MAC and at the Census Bureau.

Peter was preceded in death by several Otterbein alumnus; father Richard Allaman ’33; uncles, David Allaman ’30 & John Gilbert ’31; aunt Martha Shawen Allaman ’30.
