Ralph Hughes, Class of 1951

Ralph W. Hughes ’51 died on March 28, 2016. He served in the Army in the Korean War in a MASH unit. He retired from Countrymark as vice president and was one of the original founders of Donatos Pizza. He was a member of Sigma Delta Phi. He is preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Betty Lou. He is survived by two sons, including Robert W. Hughes ’81; eight grandchildren, including Ashley Hughes Shellhause ’08; and three great grandchildren.
