Robert E. Arn, Class of 1948

Robert Arn ’48 died Aug. 28, 2016.  He was a veteran of World War II, flying 106 combat cargo and rescue missions. He was awarded the Congressional Gold Medal for Civil Air Patrol service and the Distinguished Flying Cross among many awards and medals.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Jacquelyn Smathers Arn, ’45.  He is survived by two children including Deborah Arn Segner, ’72.
